How to Set Up Gold Price Alerts on Argo

What Are Price Alerts?
Argo’s Price Alert feature allows you to set personalized thresholds for gold prices. When the market hits your target, we’ll send you an instant email notification so you can act quickly and confidently.

How to Set a Price Alert
Step 1: Log In
Visit the Argo Web App and sign in to your account.
Step 2: Navigate to Price Alerts
You can access ‘Price Alert’ from the left-hand navigation menu by clicking on 'Price Alert'. It's also available next to the top navigation or directly from the price chart.

Step 3: Set Up a New Alert
Under Set up price alert, choose one of the two options:
- By Price – Enter an absolute dollar amount (e.g., $2,000/oz).
- By Percentage Move – Choose a % change from the current gold price.
CA Users Only: Select your preferred currency (CAD or USD) from the dropdown.

Click Confirm to save your alert.
A confirmation pop-up will let you know it’s been set successfully.
Step 4: View & Manage Your Alerts
Go to the My Alerts section to see all your active alerts. Each alert includes:
- Your chosen target (price or %)
- The currency
- A delete icon to easily remove any alert

Step 5: Monitor via the Price Chart
The price chart shown here mirrors the one on your dashboard, letting you track gold’s movement in real time as you manage your alerts.

What Happens When an Alert Is Triggered?
You’ll receive an instant email as soon as your target is hit.
